Arthur Zeng
Principal Scientist II Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.
Dr. Arthur Zeng is a Principal Scientist in the Material Sciences group for Biotherapeutics at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. He supports the qualification of raw materials used across J&J’s biotherapeutics portfolio, with a particular focus on analytical methods. He also leads the control strategies for excipients used throughout development and clinical stages.
Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Dr. Zeng served as a Senior Scientist II at BD Biosciences and held key R&D roles at Axalta Coating Systems. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Tsinghua University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, where he developed novel biomaterials for gene therapy. Dr. Zeng has a diverse background in material science, including polymer synthesis, industrial coatings, bioconjugation, bioprocessing, and material characterization.
